The Wee Barbers

I had another patron actively sitting there insulting me for being sat in the mens section despite me doing my absolute best to ignore him, he insulted me and my appearance repeatedly and kept going regardless of the fact I wasnt responding and didn't know him. This happened infront of the barbers and they did nothing. I had been waiting well over 15 minuets and had been waiting there the longest and when I was finally put in the chair they removed me for the man who had spent the last five minuets insulting me infront of everybody. I was refused a male haircut despite me explaining very quietly and politely to the barber when there was less people around that I am a transgender man so I would like to get a male cut done. Despite the fact I get a uzzcut my request was refused. It was an utterly disgusting experience. As someone who is very quiet and struggles with mutism this barbershop had always accommodated and been very helpful in the past even if the haircut they gave me wasnt always the best and was very frequently pretty bad. however due to not only bring infront of staff but also even after gently explaining having the staff refuse to give me a male cut and repeatedly call me a woman. I ended up leaving and going to a different barbers in the area where shockingly I was treated like a human being. I will never go here again. Absolutely vile.

Awful!!! Very similar to the review below. Uneven fade which took 5 mins. Woman basically to stabs at my hair with scissors and clippers. Came up with a very uneven fade. Will never use again. When asking how that was told them if was awful and they were still happy to take my money.

Had excellent 10/10 haircuts from here over the years ,however, my most recent visit (barber I've not seen before, must be new?) Messed up my hair so badly (uneven fade, missed giant patches of hair which were left uncut, hair thinned at the top when I hadn't asked for it, embarrassing haircut) I had to get it fixed at another barbers. She also reeked of ciggeretes. Probably her first day or something but I won't back.
