JAX Glasgow

Would be no stars. Booked a table weeks ago for a table for 7 for a meal. Staff kept on coming over to ask if we were ready to order, we were waiting for someone who was 15 minutes late. Went to order food only to be told the kitchen was closed. Apparently chef takes it upon himself to close the kitchen, rather than checking on bookings . Such ashame because we only meet every so often and a friend was up from London. Disappointing jaxs get your act together.

Service very slow and establishment not up to the standard you'd expect for Princes Square. Inside there was strong greasy food smell, similar to a chip shop. We had a 5 voucher for 2 glasses of prosecco but glasses only half filled!

Spoiled our Christmas Eve. We went here for a family meal but two adult men had less than a saucer of macaroni which was cold and had to be returned. The service was non existent. I have never experienced anything like that in Glasgow before. I am Glaswegian and eat out a lot. Really terrible.

Came in for some food a couple weeks ago and ended up ordering the steak sandwiches off the brunch menu which were delightful. Wasn't going to order any drinks but the cocktail menu looked interesting so me and my friend ended up ordering a couple. The place was very busy as it was Christmas time and although the staff looked very stressed and busy they kept a smile on their face and the girl serving us was lovely and very attentive. We will be returning
