First time here today after receiving a voucher for 3 course meal from daughter. Unfortunately we will not be returning. First impressions.. the place could do with a thorough deep clean. Visible dust on the top of the banquette seats at the front of the restaurant, sticky menus and tabletops. Starters - ham and mozzarella croquettes were cold inside (surprising as we assume they were freshly prepared out of a fryer), then there was the bone we found in the chicken liver pate. The toast for the pate serving was also minuscule. Mains - Pork chop dish was fine, except for the very artificial tasting onion gravy. Chicken supreme was very small. The mash potato was microwave potato which actually contained hard parts from being heated without being stirred. However the red pepper sauce was lovely. Dessert - we both opted for the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. One portion was warm, the other however didn't even get waved at the microwave.. stone cold. The restaurant in general was very cold, and we didn't even want to brave the bathrooms. Extremely disappointing and not recommended.
