Went there to ask an important question and they gave me incorrect information. They told me there would be no charge for a service then I checked online and discovered that there actually are charges. If I listened to the advisor I would have received a surprise charge. The advisor also kept walking away to give advice to another couple while we were asking questions. Very unprofessional.

From the moment I walked in there was intrusive questioning, asking infront of other customers how much cash I was depositing. Then the machine didn't register the amount I deposited and was actually 20 less. I had to ask a customer service person for my receipt for proof of deposit and am still waiting to be contacted to see if the machine reconciled at the end of the day, until then I am out of pocket, and have to find time to re visit the branch. The customer on the next machine also experienced similar. Her customer service person returned her cash and suggested she deposit at the manned counter downstairs. When the customer asked if there was queue, the answer was "I don't know" and the staff member walked away. Surely it would have been better if the staff could have deposited for her and given her a receipt. Not good enough bank of Scotland, I expect better service for the amount of floor staff swanning around with tablets.
