The man at the door was talking over us and wouldn't even let me in to ask a simple question. He didn't listen to my enquiry and kept repeating the same response which did not answer my question, clearly showing he was not listening to me one bit but trying to get rid of me. Told me to look online but I explained what I was looking for was not online. We really wanted to use royal Bank of Scotland but the customer service put us off 100% and we will not be banking with this bank since the first time experience was basically being pushed out of the branch.

Appalling that they refuse to pay in cheques in person. Can take them to alternate branch, pay in straight away and can clear by end of day.

Looks great, the decor is lovely. Staff friendly but I had to queue for a while, and there's not much privacy for customers to discuss their business. If I was taking out 3k cash like the person next me, I wouldn't want to be overheard.

This morning I have tried extremely hard to find out the closing times of the Bank to-day as on the web-site it states that because this is St Andrew's day the opening/closing times may differ from what is stated. I therefore phoned the number 0345 ... & got the automated instructions about how to find the opening times - absolutely no help whatsoever. If the opening/closing times could alter for a particular day, therefore why can't the IT Department put on these altered times instead of just ' these times may differ due to this being St Andrew's Day ' ! Very frustrating !
