Executive7 Apartments

I booked through Airbnb. The flat had no heating or hot water and host Anthony refused to provide a refund. Constant buzzing noise Anthonys Executive 7 flats including both bedrooms have a high pitched buzzing noise that I found difficult to live with. Would be very hot in summer We stayed in March and the flat became intolerably hot for a couple of hours during the day due to the South facing location and large windows which do not have blackout curtains. I would be wary of renting this flat in the summer. Poor communication, I was unable to access the flat on day of check in Anthony usually took 30 minutes to respond to my messages. He did not provide any checkin information on the day that we were expecting to arrive. I had to e-mail him over the Airbnb platform and waited for over an hour before I was eventually given check in information. Luckily I had alternative accommodation available in Glasgow so wasn't waiting around in the street for that hour. However, this lack of communication would be extremely stressful and inconvenient if a family was left waiting for an hour to access the property. I on of my childs fave toys behind. Anthony didn't even respond to my email asking if he has found it.

Great place to stay when in Islay. Good location for 3 day visit. Ferry stops here making easy access on and off island with car. Beautifully decorated. Very nice suite. Clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. Communicative with us before we arrived. Okay breakfast.
