So I moved house in January and have been trying to change my address with bank of Scotland ever since!! Iam very rarely able to get out and about having fibromyalgia and two very energetic children under 3. I tried to do it over the phone to no avail, was told to send a letter with old address and new address to Edinburgh and sign, done that and got a letter back saying I had to take the form enclosed into my nearest branch. As I said I struggle to get out and about which is the reason I sent the letter in the first place!!!! I pushed myself to go into girvan branch to be told that my address would still not be changed as I didnt bring the proper proof of address and identity. Which was a letter from ayrshire housing with my name and address and a benefit letter with both name and address. The woman was lets say less than friendly told me it had to be my tenancy agreement although my letter proved housing association and address. Ridiculous!!! Wont be using that branch again, disgusted.
