It's quite and really relaxing. We have 3 bedroom unit and they are comfortable. There are 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. But the shower water pressure is very low. There are a lot of farms nearby. You are surrounded by nature. We went on 2nd week of April. There are a lot of baby lambs running around & sleeping on the fields. But for us, we have to drive > 1, 2. 3 hours to drive to major cities. Such as Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling.... 4 hours to Glencoe. Nearby activities: Hiking trails. Castles, and beach with beautiful sunset.

5 stars because of how good it was, not saying it's a 5 star hotel. Decent sized lodge with 3 bedrooms, 1 queen size bed, 2 x 2 singles. Cooker, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer. Wifi fairly good. All self-catering but the fish and chips van comes Tuesday and Wednesday, pizza served in the guest area but no other food. Large Asda in Girvan. Site has a pool and a small gym. Lots of walking in the area but not much else unless you are prepared to travel. We had a really relaxing time. Golf club opposite has closed down.

Not really a hotel as such! Lodges of varying sizes. From two bedrooms. Some with hot tubs. Noteworthy details: An excellent location for exploring the whole area of Ayrshire and surrounding area. Beautiful countryside. GREAT walks from Brunston into the surrounding countryside.
