Really helpful and friendly staff and goods are fairly well stocked but the prices advertised are lower than what you get charged at the till. Just been in and bought a tin of beans (priced at 1.89) and a Lion Bar (priced at 0.89) total 2.78 yet was charged 3.09 at the till. This happens every time and its not a staff issue as all items are scanned from the barcode. Ive just checked and its illegal to do this.

Don't listen to Kris, he's a loser and always has been. Place has everything you need and the service is top notch. It's a friendly local place, especially when kris is not around, and deserves more praise.

I used to like this place, but that has changed during the course of this pandemic. It seems the staff wear masks when the feel like it..... Occasionally they have them on, then they don't. At first they were great at asking people to put a mask on when they came in. I don't know what changed, but now they don't,and one of the few places I've been to that don't during this tier 4 lockdown. Can be potluck on asking customers to wait outside if its full. Depends on who is working at the time, most staff don't seem to care. And can be left waiting to get served if you're in the que behind a friend of staff members, standing with your hands full as they laugh and joke. I really wish I could shop elsewhere, but this is all I can make it too with my health. Frankly I'm disgusted with how some of the staff seem to be treating this pandemic.
