Table booked for 6 pm on arrival waited 30 minutes and received no service. Waitresses too busy chatting to customers who appeared to be friends. Had to get the barman to place an order for food whilst the waitresses took orders from two other parties who arrived 15 minutes after we did. All in all it took 3 hours to get two courses, complete lack off management. Portion sizes were very small and had to buy extra sides to satisfy the hunger. Will not be back. Food & drinks: Poor, very noisy children out of control playing pool parenting very poor.

Stopped one night on way to the ferry, but it was charming! Really good hostess, fabulous food, lovely room Parking: Directly outside the pub

Lovely old pub with excellent food and beer garden. Nice place to relax for a few hours. Nearby activities: Hill walking cycling visiting historic buildings and areas all within easy reach.
