        Good selection of goods, well stocked shop with helpful staff at a reasonable price!!

        Good choice of foods, but can be quickly depleted during busy times. One of a few places selling granary rolls - although sometimes these are hard to get. The only other place I found selling them is Paul Jones bakery in Kirkcudbright. Shame crusty rolls are almost impossible to find in Dumfries and Galloway. If you're looking for crusty rolls your best bet is the Co-Op in Castle Douglas (opposite Wilkos). Staff are always nice and helpful. Prices as in other Spar shops, not the lowest but not extortionate either. To me, good for emergency or top up shopping when nearby.

        Decent stock of different foods and drinks and most of the staff are great but frustratingly and way too often they sell out of some newpapers. As papers are supplied on a sale/return basis,it seems daft that they run out at all,let alone by lunch time.
