Nope, this is as someone already mentioned on Tripadvisor 'a disappointment'. Clean bed and bathroom, but the rest is a bit rubbish. Old couch, old kitchen, weird smelling carpet, complex heating system with a difficult manual that makes sure your first warm bath will be an hour wait. Happy to have visited in summer, where I did not depend on it so much. My complaints went unanswered, which is unforgivable I think, for my money went into this owners bank account and not even taking time to email me back, that is just not polite to say the least. Gardenstown is cute, very quiet. But don't visit this Alexander Cottage, pick another holiday rental. There are plenty apartments to pick from, looking out over the beach.
