Didnt stay at the hotel, just visited. Hence no room rating. It claims to be 'Dog Friendly ', but because of the 'Pub Dog', we were asked to sit in the 'back room', which was like a cafe area and had no atmosphere. Left us feeling a bit like 2nd class customers. Fish Goujons were lovely, but Hot Dog came in a roll that was close to inedible, it was cold and tough, when heating through would probably have made all the difference. Bar area was nice and cosy, despite there only being 3 tables. But we didn't experience it as we had to go out back.

A little gem of a pub. Adds so much to the Gardenstown experience to have a place like this. Bright and quirky decor, friendly service, great choice of drinks and superb food. The Balmoral burger was huge, so good though. Good choices for vegetarians and excellent fish too. I can't fault this place. Worth calling ahead if you can to reserve, it can be busy.
