        We took the kids for a long weekend and thoroughally enjoyed ourselves. We went fishing off the pier, explored the beach and rock pools near Seatown and relaxed at the village pub with some fresh off the boat haddock and chips. The house has views over the pier and a terrace right on the harbour where we ate our breakfast watching the eider ducks fishing for elvers. We planned to visit MacDuff Aquarium if the weather was wet or Gordon castle via Pennan but found curling up with a cosy fire and vintage Disney DVD just as enjoyable. Well be back, the kids loved it.
