Always friendly service, good food at reasonable prices... Visit regularly, never had any problems. Happy to recommend... Parking: Tesco Extra right next door.

Overall it was ... nice - food is generous and homely albeit very poorly balanced dishes. I tried the Goats Cheese starter and Roast Beef as the main. Both were tasty, but lacked texture, balance and wow factor to them. The cheese came with a beautiful dressing, and the tiniest pieces of lettuce you'll ever see. Little less cheese, few more leaves and it would have been an exceptional dish. I came here specifically for their salmon dish, still on their website but no longer on the menu. So a little disappointed too. Maybe I'm expecting too much considering the prices of food these days, but it's on the top end of prices in the borders and I expected a little more from the dishes. The younger lady who served me was inexperienced and abrupt, but did the job. There was another waitress working when I visited and she was far friendlier and more welcoming. If you're looking for a laid back, nice meal, it's the place to come.
