Been to Gala so often yet never went to this tea shop until today. Sadly it seems to be closing in September, will make sure we go lots before then. Oot of tea made with tea leaves! Hoorah! The best cup if tea from a cafe in years. Coffee very good too, cheese scone was so light and lovely and the toasted teacake equally as good. The menu looks great, had we not had lunch planned we would have opted for one of the many options. Next time definitely. Super staff, so friendly and customer focused. Very, very clean place, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Been here twice now, nice food, good service, good prices, seems very popular with locals and visitors. Different from other cafes who have chips on the menu. T 4 2 dont, which makes it a cleaner place to sit in as no smell of chip grease. Portions are just right. Nice selection of cakes & scones, then theres the cheesecakes. Who doesnt love some cheesecake. Todays was Chocolate Orange which was divine. Will be back when next in Galashiels Parking: There is a public free car park in a walkable distance
