Bluebird Buses

It is pity that I can't give the bus service 5 stars for generally they are reasonably in time - bearing in mind that they are travelling long distances on busy roads that can that can cause delays to the schedule you see in the bus shelters. Today (4th August) the 1135 No 67 from Union Square never arrived on Union Street but the 1205 No 68 was on time. I see that the stairs on the new upper deck buses are being altered to make it slightly easier for the less able elderly passenger to climb. - but what possessed Bluebird to buy them in the first place.

Terrible, they don't run to schedule, take buses off the road in the slightest bad weather ( even though cars manage to drive in it) I've seen many people stranded late at night due to this, sometimes taxis aren't available at night here so unless you've family or friends to pick you up you're in for a long walk. Some drivers could be done with a short course in manners, most are rude and not very helpful, unfortunately there's no other bus companies in the area, more's the pity as competition might get them motivated. There are a couple of nice drivers but unfortunately not enough.
