Really fascinating place. An old fisherman's cottage, comprising essentially of two rooms (albeit rather effectively utilised to make more). A very helpful, friendly and informative man guided us around the house, explaining how families lived in these types of houses (this one has been preserved following the death of its last owner, Maggie, in 1950), using his knowledge and plenty of original features and artefacts, and I was astonished and impressed to learn that a family of perhaps 10 would love in such a tiny house. We also learnt about how they used to fish, store and trade their wares. There was a suggested donation of 5 for each adult (children free), and I gladly paid that for my 20 or so minutes in Maggie's Hoosie.
