The Mended Drum

Fantastic. Stayed in the Dolphin apartment. Beautifully done with great attention to detail. Hosts are a lovely couple and you do nt really see them but always available if you need them. It's a 2 min walk to the 19th hole which serves a decent breakfast and the food is excellent. Chanonry point is 15mins along the beach which is two mins from The Mended Drum. You could also drive if you prefer. The dolphins did not disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed our short break and would defo go back Rooms: Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and modern.

My wife and I stayed here for a week. We stayed in the seagolf lodge and it was fantastic. The room was spacious, bathroom large, the kitchenette was equipped with a microwave oven, halogen hob, cutlery, crockery and a fridgefreezer. Our hosts, Guthrie and Gunther were wonderful and nothing was too much to ask of them. It is a short stroll to the golf club, a leisurely walk to Rosemarkie and a walk along the beach to Chanonry point where dolphins can be seen up close, check the tide times as the best time to have a chance of seeing them is about 1 hour after low tide and you could still be there 4 hours later. The point is actually deemed one of the best places in the world to see wild bottlenose dolphins, wrap up warm as it can be a lot cooler and windier down there. We totally recommend The Mended drum and we will certainly be returning next year.
