Arnbeg Farmstay Scotland

We had the best holiday at Arnbeg, such a stunning location and beautiful views from every window. Ali and Michael were perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming. The cottage is huge, comfortable, fully equipped and beautifully decorated. The welcome pack was very well received, better than anywhere else we've stayed! We loved seeing all the animals on the farm and joining Ali and Michael with feeding. They clearly adore the animals and it was so interesting hearing all about them. We were lucky enough to see some gorgeous lambs The farm is in a great location - we visited Stirling, Callender, Aberfoyle, Falkirk and took the train into Edinburgh for a day. We hope to visit again and thoroughly recommend the cottage for a fabulous holiday

Just returned after a fabulous family holiday (2 adults, 3 teenage children) based at Ardbeg Farmstay. The house has everything you want and need - clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The location is perfect both in itself and in terms of easy access to the surrounds. The views out of every window (and there are lots!) are breathtaking - animals (highland cattle, sheep, alpaca, goats, chickens, geese) immediately outside and stunning views for miles beyond in every direction. Ardbeg is conveniently located offering easy access by car to the historic cities of Stirling (about 15 minutes), Glasgow (45 minutes) and Edinburgh (an hour) with castles and museums in abundance as well as all the benefits of major cities (cinemas, restaurants, theatres and shops). Beyond cities Ardbeg is surrounded by hills and lochs including the beautiful Trossachs and the world famous Loch Lomond - both offering a range of land and water-based activities (under 30 minutes away). We went out every day to one of the above places and returned to Ardbeg late afternoon/early evening for dinner (Stirling has all the major supermarkets) and a good nights sleep! Thank you Ali and Michael for making us feel welcome. We will certainly recommend Ardbeg Farmstay to others and hope to return ourselves one day!

We had an excellent stay at Arnbeg. Ali and Michael were brilliant hosts, on hand for anything we could need but also left us to crack on as if it was our own home. We took a 2, 4 and 6yr old away with us and they loved having the animals so close at hand. Meeting the sheep was a wonderful experience for all ages. The house itself was clean and well stocked with most things needed plus Ali and Michael wouldve provided anything extra, but we didnt need to ask. We had loads of lovely days out, both locally and in Glasgow as well as being content just to stay home in the beautiful surroundings. The children (and adults) are all desperate to go back!!

We have really enjoyed the house, the animals and also the barbecue and children's area. It was not our case, but if you go with small children, the enclosure of the house is completely fenced, with no danger of them escaping. Queremos destacar tambin el altsimo nivel de limpieza y estado de utensilios de cocina. Los propietarios son muy amables y te ensean los animales que tienen en la granja. Hemos disfrutado mucho de la casa, los animales y tambin de la barbacoa y zona infantil. No era nuestro caso, pero si vais con nios pequeos, les recinto de la casa est totalmente vallado, sin peligro de que puedan escaparse.
