Ballat Smithy is a very well appointed cottage - a home away from home with everything you could need to make your holiday enjoyable. From the welcome food package waiting on your arrival to the plentiful supply of towels, games, books and general household items - all you have to do is arrive, relax and start your holiday! The cottage is on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park so is ideally placed for exploring all the areas of natural beauty around it, as well as really close to Stirling (the William Wallace monument is worth a visit), Falkirk (the Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies are definitely worth a visit) and even Glasgow if you want a big city. Anne is so friendly and welcoming and if we return to this area of Scotland we will definitely stay again!

This is the perfect home from home cottage. I stayed here for a week with my partner and we didn't want to leave. Ballet Smithy cottage is ideally placed to discover the stunning Loch Lomond and Troassachs area and local amenities are only a short drive away. Inside the cottage is comfortable and cosy with everything you need and Anne, the amiable owner, was the model host. I would highly recommend Ballat Smithy to friends and family and hope to return there soon.
