Noted reply to another review slating a previous 1 star reviewer by stating it was from a terrible foreign volunteer. This farm treats hard working volunteers badly and I can vouch for other 1 star, have also spoken to other volunteers having equally bad experiences. Terrible impression to give foreigners. Farm should employ local people and not use volunteers as free labour and treat them so poorly. I am under no illusions that owners of the farm will deny this but it is what I experienced and feel it should be known. Hopefully owners are no longer using volunteers. Replying to reply - why did you host so many volunteers if they made your life miserable?! Free labour. The tone and wording of your reply shows you have not changed and simply dont understand how these volunteer sites work. It is clear you feel that you are doing people a favour having them as volunteers but it is you who should be appreciative and you clearly resented having people in your home. Free food and accommodation?! For working for you 6 days a week being fed whatever was around (out of date meat for example) whilst being belittled and constantly criticised?! I worked extremely hard on your farm but it was not good enough. I am sorry for the great number of volunteers who you treated badly and the fact you dont seem to have been happy with many of them says more about you than them. Enjoy your profits knowing how they came about. I am simply shedding light on what went on at your farm and giving my support to the other person who has left a review who was also not good enough for your unrealistic expectations. I will say no more as you have not changed and I do not wish to debate with someone who cannot acknowledge that they have acted unkindly and unfairly to their volunteers.
