I was positively surprised by this nice and interesting museum. Due to the free entry it is a really good alternative on a rainy day. It is a very lovely and thoughtful designed local museum. One can learn about the entire history of Fort William and its part in national history. The staff was really enthusiastic and friendly and provided us with further information. In conclusion it's a really good museum and if you find yourself in Fort William on a rainy or a rest day between sports activities it's definitely worth a visit!

That's why we supported the museum with a donation, because entry is free. :) I think the time required for the museum is between 1-2 hours. Der sehr nette Herr am Eingang, erzhlte uns zu Beginn ein wenig zum Museum und der Geschichte. Und gab uns sogar eine mittelgroe Broschre einer deutschen Zusammenfassung des Museum. Was wir sehr praktisch fanden. Uns hat's gut gefallen. Daher haben wir das Museum auch mit einer Spende untersttzt, denn der Eintritt ist frei. :) Zeitaufwand fr das Museum ist, denke ich zwischen 1-2h anzusetzen. Je nachdem wie viele Beschilderung etc man sich intensiv durchliest.
