Weve just had a wonderful 2 week holiday at The Apartment in Ardgour. We arrived to find the apartment very clean and could see the extra steps that had been taken with regards to the Coronavirus, including a big bottle of hand sanitiser by the door. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, the shower was just brilliant and the huge balcony overlooking the loch was fantastic because it had a long overhanging roof it meant we could sit outside even in heavy wind and rain and we were still sheltered. The location of the apartment is perfect for a peaceful break (the only sounds you will hear are wildlife) but also great for exploring the west coast and highlands. I can recommend the drive over to Lochaline to get the ferry to Mull, from there we did a circular drive up to Tobermory and Calgary Bay before ending up back at the ferry port. If you enjoy wildlife then you will be spoilt here, we saw a dolphin (it may have been a porpoise) and a couple of seals in the loch, lots of different sea birds and there were buzzards in the trees at the back of the apartment which kept us entertained the whole fortnight. We also woke one morning to find 6 peacocks in the garden, that still feels like a mad dream !! I can definitely recommend this apartment and Im sure we will be returning ourselves in the future.
