The Inn at Ardgour - Hotel in Ardgour

We had an amazing time here. We felt right at home and well taken care of, the staff truly goes the extra mile! The rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable. The views from the Inn across the lake with the mountains in the distance is hard to beat. The food is excellent (try the Haggis!) and they have a great whisky selection. We loved the place and could have easily stayed a week or longer. Important: I recommend not letting the breakdown of the Ferry deter you from staying here. It is absolutely worth it and there is a fairly simple solution to it. The car can be parked easily on the east shore of the narrow at the ferry terminal and you can take a free ride on the passenger boat (currently running in lieu of the ferry from morning to night) across the narrow to the Inn which is located right next to the ramp where the boat docks. That way, you can avoid the extra drive and be in e.g. Glencoe quickly by taking the boat back and forth as needed. If you decide to drive around the lake - its a nice scenic route, we did it and did not regret it.

The Inn at Ardgour was a fantastic stay. My fianc and I wanted an escape and we absolutely got it. Wonderful location, beautiful rooms, welcoming and kind staff. We also had a meal there one of the nights and we can highly recommend them evening and breakfast services. We plan to visit again in the Summer when the ferry is back on! Thank you Luke and everyone else for making our stay wonderful!
