        The location of the hostel is spectacular. I dont have the vocab to do it justice. As many have said, the manager Jan was really friendly and accommodating. The only spanner in the works was a fellow hosteller who was the loudest snorer I have ever heard in my life (ear buds would have proved no defence). Impossible to sleep like that, so it was a very early start next morning and out to enjoy the scenery.

        Walkability: Only a 1.6km walk from Corrour (Coire Odhar) railway station on the west highland line Noteworthy details: Proper getaway from it all youth hostel. There is electricity although in winter the water supply may be frozen. Even so, this place is amazing. Comfortable beds and adequate facilities made for a great weekend.
