Mountains that flow into the locks from all directions. It's like being on a different planet
The cottage was absolutely fantastic, clean and spacious with a fenced in garden ,probably to stop the dear from eating the lovely lawn. Sea Eagles on the lakes only a short distance away ,good fishing ,and you can walk until you legs give up and not see another person. Just Mountains We were self catering and took lots of shopping from a major store but found the local village shop had all we needed, and noticed the price wasn't bad either. People were friendly and helpful in the village ,
