Ardgour Highland Estate - Luxury Self Catering

Well, this is a bit late in getting written but it has been bubbling around in my head for so long. We just simply couldnt not write a review for this wonderful cottage and great host. My (then) Girlfriend and I hired a car and spent an amazing week in the cottage just after Christmas and over Hogmanay. I surprised her with the trip and then by proposing at the bells. She said yes . My fianc and I always speak about this place and have such lovely memories there. The drive there was fantastic, the location is so scenic and you feel like you could be a million miles away at times. It is literally a walk to the end of the long drive (5 mins) to get to a very beautiful and secluded beach surrounded by hills and wildlife. The stars at night are insane, it is like they are 20% bigger and more vibrant. My other half isnt even bothered about space (I dont know how) but even she was taken aback by how much you could see. Annie was such a great host. She met us when we arrived, had the log fire burning and had even put up a Christmas tree for us the cottage was stunning to walk into. It felt immediately homely and like it was ours. We were welcomed with a basket of goodies too. Annie showed us around the place and we had a quick chat and then we were very much left to our own devices which is exactly what we wanted. To be left alone and relax bliss. So much to do around the area. Definitely advisable to take a car to explore as much as possible. We had a lovely week of relaxation, roaming and romance. Luxurious 5-star cottage for two set amongst wonderful west coast scenery in the wilds of Ardgour. Cuil Moss is the real deal; the interiors are fantastic with fabulous luxury furnishings. There is a four-poster effect bed and super stylish bathroom. The cottage even boasts its own stargazing tower and wildlife watching hide located in the grounds.Cute, cosy, romantic, and lovingly finished, Cuil Moss is the ultimate escape for couples. We are going to book again for sure!
