        Myself and my partner stayed here for a week in September, fabulous location overlooking the lock system in the beautiful village of Fort Augustus. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom flat, with ample living space, kitchen, open fire, central heating in all rooms, bathroom with shower over and lovely views out of every window. There are plenty of places to eat if you don't want to cook for yourselves including a Chinese takeaway, pubs/ restaurants and the obligatory chippie. Tea rooms lock side, ideal for that breakfast panini and to watch the world go by, there are also souvenir shops dotted about, perfect for shortbread and Scottish souvenirs. 10/10!
