Stayed 6 nights in Birch shepherd's hut whilst I was on a course in Findhorn. Highly recommend, helpful and very accommodating when I had to change from camping to hut ! Advise buying wood from Tesco or petrol station if staying a while. Other than that perfect getaway and have used before in October 3 years ago for a long weekend with canyoning and exploring area. Great spot!

We went on a half day white water rafting tour with ACE adventures. Great half day out and it was a lot of fun out in the river. We had some good rapids. They also offer decent changing rooms and great gear for the trip. Really friendly and helpful staff as well. The team did help take some photos on their camera but you would have to pay for them afterwards.

Went camping here with some friends and all our kids in the summer. We had a pitch in the trees by the fields with a firepit. I LOVE camping but my main worry is always the toilet and shower facilities. ACE adventures absolutely excelled on this part. The block was warm, clean and brightly lit at night. I could not believe our luck! The pitch itself had been swept of debris (due to being under tree cover), there was space nearby to park the cars. Because the pitch was away from the track, it felt very safe for the younger kids. We will 100% be returning.

My family stayed in one of the bell tents and we had a fantastic time. Perfect alternative to camping if you don't want the hassle of putting up your own tent. It was mid-October so the wood burning stove inside was cosy. There are comfortable waterproof mattresses so you aren't lying on the cold floor. There was also an outside firepit and bbq facilities. Amenities were fantastic - pristine toilet and shower facilities if you need your comforts, but also a couple of outhouses if you you like to keep things rustic. There were camping facilities such as cook pots, stove kettles, and even a couple of battery operated heaters. I can't speak for the activities, but we saw groups of excited people coming and going and they all seemed to be having a great time.
