Alvin Kramer Guitar & Bass Tuition

Great guitar teacher! As a hardcore guitar nerd, When I first started learning I went through a lot of teachers. I had a bad habit of burning through teaching material or getting bored doing the same types of things week after week. Eventually another guitar teacher (Thanks Mr Mckay) sent me Kramers way. I studied with Alvin for years in high school and came back as an adult to sharpen up and try more new chalenges. Even after years theres always new stuff in a wild range of styles. Relaxed, fun and with a ton of knowledge and expertise. Would strongly recommend.

I am a 16 year old student and have been going to Alvin's lessons for 2 years now and been playing bass for 3. Compared to the tutor I had prior, his lessons have always been fun and engaging by combining his large knowledge of music genres to fit with all tastes of music. I feel like I have learned a great deal in these 2 years and would recommend this tuition to anyone starting or just wanting to learn more about guitar and bass. You know a legend when you meet one!

I have been going to Alvin for many years now and I would highly recommend him as a music teacher. During my time with him I have been able to improve my playing on electric, acoustic and bass guitar and he has broadened my knowledge of different styles and techniques that can be used on all of these. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning with him as he has catered to my taste in music and what type of playing I'm interested in as well as introducing me to different styles along the way. I have recently achieved A's in my practical music exams and Alvin has been a great help in helping me prepare for these. Would highly recommend!

I took guitar lessons from Alvin for several years, and I can say he is a fantastic teacher with more than 20 years experience. His teaching approach is well structured and thoughtful, covering many music genres, allowing students both young and old to develop their guitar playing skills with a solid grounding in musical theory. He was always patient and would teach me the music I wanted to play. I would definitely recommend Alvin if you or your children either want to start learning to play the guitar or are interested in improving your guitar playing!
