Andrew Soutar Stove Installations

I recently tried 4 Businesses to undertake a repair to my Multi-Fuel Stove. 2 failed to follow up, 1 viewed and never responded afterwards however, Andrew Soutar Stove Installations viewed within days of initial contact and advised that, although they had a full order book, they would try to fit in as and when time allowed. Within 2 weeks they advised me of a next day availability which I readily agreed to. Their professionalism, advice on alterations required and work on the day was exemplary and the resultant repair has shown to noticeably improve the efficiency of the Stove. I cannot recommend this Business enough!

To my shame, I have been meaning to submit this review for nearly 6 years after Andrew and his team installed a Woodwarm Phoenix Fireblaze 6 kw stove for us in 2017, but am only now getting around to doing so. I say, to my shame, as he fully deserved a 5 star review immediately on completion of the job rather than at this belated stage. That said, the fact that I feel compelled to post a glowing review 6 years after installation is testament to the fact that his work has certainly stood the test of time! Choosing Andrew for the supply and installation of our stove is without doubt one of the best decisions, property wise, that we have made since we purchased our first house in 1975. Over the years, we have had many alterations and adjustments made to the houses in which we have lived, some successful and others less so, but our experience with Andrew, Katie and Ewen surpassed all expectations. From the moment we contacted them until job completion was a first class experience; we are also particularly appreciative of his and Katies suggestion regarding the make and model of the stove that we eventually purchased - some of our family members and friends with stoves had told us how much they loved them but had all mentioned their experience of unsightly, dark deposits appearing on the door glass of their stoves, which they said were inevitable. But Andrew and Katie told us that that wasnt the case and pointed us in the direction of the Woodwarm Phoenix Fireblaze 6 kw with its unique clean burn air wash system that has kept our stove door completely clear during every use over the last 6 years! A fantastic stove and one we would thoroughly recommend. Two years after purchase, we encountered a small problem with the hearth (not the stove nor installation), and Andrew turned up within 48 hours to rectify it, despite our living 45 miles away from his showroom! So, to any one out there debating who to choose for their new stove, I would say its a no brainer and recommend Andrew and his team without hesitation. I am just so sorry that it has taken me so long to do so.
