View from the Slow Lane

I can not remember how I found View from the Slow Lane as in excitement of finding the perfect transport for by daughters wedding brain cells went out the wiindow. I did not care if Yasmine and Cameron would agree I was having Moomin Van as we are The Moomin Family we each have Moomin Nickname... Poor Cameron being Snorkmaiden as he always ends up carrying my handbag... What a fantastic son in law to have. I will get back to Sammy, Colin and not forgetting Marla Bear their gentle bear of a dog. From the first call as I prefer getting one to one connection Sammy felt like an old friend that I had not spoken to in a while but picked up where had left off Kind of friend. Highly professional but warm and funny. I announced to Yasmine and Cameron I had sorted transport for me and they could share to much hilarious comments "who is getting married". We would go on road trip to view van but fore gone conclusion I was having as pre booked date. We had a wonderful viewing day Moomin Van total hit with bride and groom who now have eye on Little Miss Sunshine van for Holiday and I just want Gin Tuk Tuk just for me. The Big Day arrived men all transported I time. Yasmine more than fashionably late but Colin looking stunning calmed frantic mum of bride and got us safely to venue before Registrar decided Yasmine had done a runner so phew I off loaded her to her dad to give away with this item is non returnable to Cameron. I have mobility issues and Colin was there to support me getting in and out and in no way did I feel a burden which often case when assistance req. One of best things was travelling with my daughter, her God Mum and 2 Bridesmaids from her Grandparents Nursing Home as we were able to check they were OK before they left but other residents reminisced about having their holidays in similar camper vans. I think you can guess I can not recommend highly enough, it you want something different go for Moomin Van but they also have classic car as well so you could do a mix. From first to ongoing contact experience fantastic. All that is left to say is Sammy, Colin & Marla TQ for making road trip day, all communication and Wedding Day so special x

I've always been a bit obsessed with VW campervans and so it was a dream of mine to have one on our wedding day! View from the slow lane are professional and friendly from start to finish, and paid attention to even the smallest details, the inside of the campervan was just as beautifully decorated as the outside. Everyone admired Lickety Split and all the children especially were so excited to sit inside. Along with the VW beetle we hired (Daisy Love), the 2 looked great together and were the talk of the day. I couldn't recommend View from the slow lane enough and certainly will be doing so to friends and family :) Thanks again! The Thomsons xx

Loved taking Moomin around the north coast - makes a road trip a real adventure and great fun. Great service from Colin and Sammy.

My and my partner booked one of the vans for a fabulous long weekend to celebrate my birthday and it was THE BEST ever!! The van has tons of character and yet is super comfortable to eat and sleep in. Driving this van does take some effort as it's not a modern vehicle with power steering ect but it's worth it!! I now understand why life in the slow lane is so appealing! I would book again for another special holiday in a heartbeat.

Good experience , had a minor mishap with the door and the guy came out in the middle of the night (travelled an hour to us) and sorted it within 10 minutes - first class customer service in its finest definition. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends.
