GP emailed over a prescription for trearment for an allergy days in advance, boots told me they hadn't received it. After phoning 111 as the gp was closed, they told me it had been sent to boots but they were refusing to give it to me, no reasons were given other than the fact that they were refusing to give it to me. I am going away on holiday and it's crucial I get my prescription as mentioned before, its to treat an allergy but now I can't and the fact I'm being given no reason is awful. I've obviously been prescribed it for a reason and it's not my first time receiving this medication but boots have decided they won't give me medication I need and rather than tell me this directly, they lied and said they hadn't received the doctors email.

What staff there is are friendly & always seem to be working flat out as it's too short staffed to be efficient as far as customers are concerned, obviously not the staffs fault. Not all meds are available for collection on this new automatic 8 week system so we do sometimes have to return to collect prescription, again not their fault

The Forfar boots is filthy dirty. I queued for 10 minutes at the till and was ignored by the staff. I was then told by another member of the public that I have to queue in the pharmacy queue. Why could a member of staff not have told me that. The wait was too long. I advised the manager to perhaps put up a sign to make the public aware where to queue, she seemed disinterested. All the customers were referring to the bad service while queuing. The overall experience was terrible. Really bad for Boots the chemist, standards are really failing. The place needs a blumin good clean.
