***Edit **** I see since I posted another 8 reviews have been posted, all positive, all based in the USA. I suspect a ploy to up the scores. No response to my review though . Still wouldnt use again. Had trusses delivered in August but they dont fit the roof, on making enquiries as to how Forfar Roof Truss came to their design I received a rude defensive response and the usual non-sense about you signed off on it. Firstly, I paid the company to design a roof but they clearly cant read engineers drawing as instead of having my existing roof ridge running East to West they have it in their design going North to South. This had led to us having trusses for a valley that is not in engineers drawings (1,500 wasted). Secondly, new trusses have been built with 9 x 2 chords that dont tie in to existing 6 x 2 joists. Having to pay builders to cut chords down and treble them up with wood that can only be sourced from a truss supplier (1,000 plus contractors time). Needless to say, I wont be buying this additional wood from Forfar Wood Truss Co. Lastly, when you pay for a service you expect it to be correct and it shouldnt require a lay person to agree to dimensions and angles. Anybody can make a mistake but it is how you correct that mistake that counts. Forfar Roof Truss Co are not willing to work with customers to rectify the situation. Do Not Use!! Other suppliers available in Scotland.
