Self service launderette

Couldn't use either machine as they were dirty & had lots of dog or cat hairs in the drums. I know there's no control over what people put in the machines but perhaps they can be cleaned more often

First time user of a self service launderette, and it's brilliant. Only use it for larger or bulkier items that wouldn't fit in my washing machine at home. A choice of two machines to choose from. 8kg or 18kg washing machine, and one 18kg drier beside them too. Simple and easy to use. Use the touchscreen to look at your options and away you go! Accepts cash, card or contactless. A deal-breaker for me, since during the Covid pandemic we're all encouraged to use contactless wherever possible, so I seldom carry cash nowadays. To use contactless is convenient, easy and hassle free. Now provides you with an option of adding softner for an additional 2. Provide the machine with your mobile number and it will send you an SMS when it's 5 minutes from completing its cycle. Did my king size bulky duvet cover and fleece bedsheet no problem in approx 40 mins. Comes out smelling lovely and fresh! Wouldn't hesitate to use this facility again when needs be. Brilliant!
