Never, ever engage this firm. Barry Greenhill joiner and contractor at 5 Market Pl, Forfar DD8 3BQ has deserted my site, in the middle of winter, leaving the property open to the wind and weather. No notice, no warning and no notification. The agreement for the price and the work was made in February of 2017 with the work starting in April of 2017. The lead time for completion was given as 26 weeks; after 40 weeks the gable of the extension isn't fitted, external patio doors are not fitted, windows have been removed or are half out and open to the elements, some of a kitchen is fitted and none of the bathroom - not even the walls. I have a house that is a building site that I can't sell or move into. I can't move and get my current property sold to pay the loan and as such am now subject to litigation. I have paid tens of thousands and am no told that there might be 25% of what I have paid in the materials on site. I am destitute and now have failing health brought on by stress - doctor's diagnosis. Please do not become a victim of this unscrupulous operator or anybody that recommends him.
