Saddler's Of Forfar

Spending 2 weeks on a training course in Forfar so decided I needed to try a traditional bridie before I finished. Opted for the larger size of two available with the traditional short crust rather than the flaky option. It was indeed a very tasty thing and the chips were decent too. Server was very friendly and helpful and my food was delivered quickly too. Have another week on the course so think I will definitely be going back before next Friday!

Absolutely love this wee place, my gf n me were doing a road trip and were heading to arbroath and at the last minute took a detour to go forfar as I was in here as a dumbarton fan a while ago before the game, anyway, it was sooo worth it! Better than I remembered too my lass loved it one of thee tastiest things I've ever ate in my life! Cakes were lovely too, also we explored the town and I must recommend forfar meffin museum! It's awsome all in all a great wee town love it here!

Best baker in Forfar.! Recently visited town for a short break. Bridies from Saddlers, best baker in Forfar. Took a few home to freeze. Also tried steak pie, carrot cake, both delicious. Lovely shop with small cafe. Will be back ,definitely recommend.
