        Known as the Banffshire Bethlehem, St Ninian's is the oldest post reformation church still in use and was built to look like a byre in a time when it was unwise to advertise the fact that it was a Catholic church. St Gregory's church, just over a mile away, was the first post reformation church built to look like a church
