        If there's a better bowl of soup in Ayrshire - nay, the west coast of Scotland - I'd be surprised. This is a cafe where 'home made' means home made, not 'reconstituted from powder and paste in the back kitchen.' Where a slice of cake is more like a slab and if you want a roll on bacon, you've got it. If I'm being picky I'd like a stronger coffee. I should have asked for a double shot... Nice decor too!
