Very friendly, informative and helpful staff. Very clean and fresh site. A comforting place for dogs to reside (even if just for a while)!

Excellent care centre. Can't praise the staff enough for their care and hard work. Dogs have lovely kennels with plenty of space. Great place to re-home a dog and give it a new family.

Four times Ive tried to adopt dogs from dogs trust and even though I've had dogs all my life have a large garden live in a rural area have no children I haven't even had as much as a reply from them I won't be trying anymore which is a shame as we could help a dog have a lovely life

They claim their kennels are pretty much full yet when you try to rehome a dog they knock you back for the most pointless reasons now, Almost 12 years ago we rehomed a dog from dogs trust, was easy back then, filled out a form, met the dog, passed the home visit, This time however because we had recently lost the same dog we rehomed 12 years ago, there was way more questions, so we passed the home virtual tour, our application form was perfect for the dog but get this, because we never had a full vet history with our last dog then we aren't suitable for another dog, our last dog was at least 13years old (possible more as he was a stray when found so his age was a guess) and in the 12 years we had him he had a check up at the vet, one other visit for a slight eye problem that eas eaaily dealt with, and until old age caught up with him he was in great health, absolutely no issues whatsoever, he was well looked after and had a spoilt 12 years with us, But nope thats not good enough apparently, having a rescue dog for 12 years in great health isnt suitable to them to rehome another dog, why would i take a perfectly good dog to the vets when its unneeded. Reading other reviews you'll find others with similar ridiculous reasons not to rehome dogs to the point people will lie on their forms now to get one, i cannot get a dog off them now unless i get one elsewhere for god knows how long and have a vet history Absolute shambles and its the poor dogs losing out now.
