Mother church of the Island. A place to have quiet time for reflection and prayer.

Landmark church. Imposing building set in its own grounds. Associated with much of the history of Barrhead and its inhabitants. Worth a visit.

Turned up for soup, but we were a week late, but very kindly, they provided us with soup & sandwiches. Ta!

For white middle class people by the look of the clientele. A lot of beautiful cars parked there on a Sunday. Matthew 19 seems to be forgotten.

Beautiful old kirk with a touching Edwardian interior thanks to the widow of one of Queen Victoria's main physicians.

Quite a few really old grave stones in this historic church. Also has a couple of information boards within the grounds, very interesting.
