Absolutely loved our stay in Falkland. The cottage was well presented and equipped with everything you can think of that you might need for your stay. Plenty of books and games, well equipped kitchen making it easy to cook a variety of meals (Falkland is small and quiet so anywhere to eat was closed early first week in April) Nice big dining table to eat at, comfortable seating in the lounge area. Nice, bright and airy open plan living area which extends out onto a small private patio with lovely views. Can see the Lomond hills from the velux windows. Comfortable beds with clean, fresh bedding and towels provided and a well equipped wet room and an en suite from one bedroom. We all really loved our stay and the cottage was cosy, comfortable and in a great location in the village with off road parking. Plenty of books provided about the local area and handy guides for things to do, places to eat and so on. Folder with all appliance manuals which helps when youre unsure how something might work and some literature on the local history which is really fascinating! Stewart was a lovely host, always pleasant and interesting to talk to, although we barely saw him! Will definitely book again.
