This place is my favourite, Im here frequently. The brick a brack area is like a corner of hidden treasure. The variety of stuff is fantastic if youre on a budget and looking for things to add into your home while also contributing to charity

I took an old monitor to the counter to purchase. The monitor had a price label on it showing as clearance which made sense based on it's condition but would have been ok for what I needed. It was in a box of old bits and bobs under the tvs. Remotes, cables, broken covers. leads etc..... A darker skinned staff member informed me it wasn't for sale and needed to be checked and that's why it was under the table. A clearance price label would suggest it has been checked. He saw me looking at the items and instead of letting me know at the time that the clearance items wasn't for sale, he waited till I went to the counter to jump into the start of my purchase to say it wasn't for sale. Why didn't you tell me when I was looking? It's not so much about what was said but how it was said. This person was clearly angry for some reason and has completely lost the concept of what Strathcarron is trying to do. Should this be brought to that persons attention, learn how to talk to people and the reason you are there. Help people and don't be on a power trip. Deal with your issues.
