The Wheel Caravan Park

Greeted on arrival by the lovely Hogie , issued me with a lovely print of one of his paintings and a little hand drawn map for a guide around the area.Beautiful campsite in even more beautiful surroundings, clean tidy well equipped facilities, everything you might need and lashings of hot water. A little tour in a pony n trap round the woods is available courtesy of Hogie while he tells you about the surrounding land , his horses, the magic circle & lots more besides . 10 minute walk to The Wheel & a much longer walk to The Kelpies but we'll worth it , the beautiful sculptures tower abouve you. Anyhoo , I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & will definitely be back - Thanks Hogie

When you first drive into this caravan site you think I am not staying here, but give it a chance. The facilities are very clean and there is plenty of hot water. The Falkirk wheel is a short walk away. A short drive to the Kelpies. There are some amazing walks around this caravan site with a local coffee shop 15 minutes walk away. John the owner is very knowledgeable about the local area. His horse carriage trip is fun.
