Steven and Karla are completely professional and let us say goodbye to our dearly missed father. Service couldnt have went any better and Im proud Steven and Karla conducted it.

We have used John O'connor & Son on numerous occasions now, and we cannot thank them enough. Nothing is too much trouble, everything is above and beyond what needs to be done and we couldn't be more grateful to Steven and the team for everything they do. Anything to make the whole process as personal and as comforting as possible they will do without hesitation. The compassion, dignity and respect they have shown family and friends is second to none and we will be forever grateful for that in the most painful of times.

Very impressive caring and professional service from the initial meeting with Stephen his professionalism and empathy shone through Nothing was too much trouble his advice and organisation was commendable He arranged for the humanist (Dougie) to visit again he was a gentleman and his narration capturedLewis perfectly The service and arrangements were carried out with dignity compassion and thoughtfulness I wouldnt hesitate to recommend OConnors funeral service to family and friends

I dealt with this funeral directors back in 2019 and have left positive reviews on all platforms possible apart from google it seems so here goes after my mums sudden passing in June 2019 I didnt know where to go or what to do as I had never had to deal with such an experience before this my mother in law put me in touch with Steven who couldnt have been anymore caring and compassionate if he tried. After the polava with police and fiscal I didnt know where my mother body was or what was happening after 20 minutes with Steven he found out where she was and took steps from there to bring her into his care. I was offered to visit my mom at the mortuary at the hospital and had asked Steven to attend as I wasnt in anyway prepared never being in a place like that it reassured me having him there he took proper steps to ensure my mothers body was in a state to view and that she hadnt started decaying etc. Everything was never too much from the minute we were in contact I could contact him whenever. Once my mother was in John OConnors funeral directors care everything was seemless he had my mother viewing ready within the day which helped a lot of family members. He simplified the list of things that were needing to prepare her for her final journey down the last detail. He helped choose flowers and arranged the celebrant to come visit myself and my family at my home to discuss my mothers life and from there we got to the big day. The funeral we had arranged for my mother to leave from her home address fitting seeing as it was her final journey a beautiful convoy of clean modern cars arrived Steven greeted the family before explaining what would happen next he done my mother so proud and treated her with the respect and care I would have given her myself. I have to disagree with previous reviews given that Steven is unprofessional and uncaring I also find it ludicrous that someone even went as far to say he was somewhat creepy towards females this isnt the man I met and still to this day I see and speak to while Im passing his establishments. If you are looking for a funeral director who knows compassion and doesnt see you as a cashcow then look no further than Steven and his team and John OConnor funeral directors. They are family run and know how important it is that your every need and want is met. I would highly recommend
