I had to take my cat to Vets ER on New year's day. She was seen very quickly despite them being busy and it not being a life threatening issue. She was treated quickly too. They were also very quick at liaising with my insurance resulting in a fast payment from them. Thank you!

Ive had to use this service twice in the last week, both times the service was very good. The first time was for a wound to one of my dogs paw the service provide was very good and proffesional. The 2nd time was for my other dog who was very ill the advice given for free helped us get our dog through until the morning until we could get to our own vet practice. Many thanks.

I took my rabbit to my normal vet on friday 24th where she was admitted. After collecting her at 6.30pm the vet advised that if she declined in health or didn't perk up then to call VETSER as they would have to give her another injection. 9.30pm came and my rabbit still wasn't moving and i couldn't get her to take her recovery food. I called VETSER and was told there was no "magic wand to syringe feeding" and that they couldn't do anything. I was advised to keep her warm and to chase her to keep her moving, but told not to worry about her not eating. I wasn't offered an appointment at all and told to take her to my normal vet when they open at 8.30am. They also implied that my day vet hadn't provided the correct medication for her, but didn't offer to give me the correct medication or administer it. I managed to get my rabbit to run the length of the hall but after this she just got even worse. Couldn't hold her body up without support and when trying to syringe feed her water i had to lift her head as she wasn't able to, and wasn't able to swallow water either. I knew she wouldn't make it through the night so sat with her and at 12.40am she had some sort of seizure/fit and died. I just feel it was poor care not to even be offered an appointment to check her over. Even if it was for a PTS, but she was just left to suffer. I genuinely feel its because they couldn't be bothered to look at her.

Excellent care for my senior husky. I am shocked by the negative reviews but am guessing that the many who have had a positive experience have not left a review. Unfortunately, my dog was ill enough that I required VETS ER services on 4 separate occasions over the last 5 months. Not only were they incredibly helpful and supportive, but the care they gave my dog was very good. They nursed her back to health and kept me informed. Unfortunately, my last visit was for end of life care. The hardest time a pet owner must go through. I found the nurses and Dr (Graham) to be wonderful. They didn't rush us and talked us through the entire process. Our goodbyes were said in the best possible way given the horrible circumstances. No one wishes emergency care for their pets, but when needed I would recommend VETS ER. Thank you for your care and kindness VETS ER team.
