        Bought cockles, mussels and crab sandwiches at Seahouses on the pier. The cockles and mussels tasted of very little...no sense of the sea as in 'seafood'. And the crab sandwich was bitter...again seafood did not describe the experience. I have NEVER left crabmeat on my plate but I threw half the sandwich away. Where is the point in buying seafood if you can't taste the sea. Ridiculously expensive for such a disappointing experience. No wonder we didnt see anyone else buying anything. Never again.

        Fresh crab purchased in Morpeth Friday from your van as well as hake. Crab had no claw meat, very little white meat, and little brown in relation to shell size. Tasted off within two days of purchase. Binned. What a waste of money!

        In lock down and they came to my door with a van full of lovely fresh fish. The driver properly and professionally distanced himself while I chose and then placed the fish bagged on my wall and left. Superbly fresh lemon sole and cod fillets. He had a great choice on the van (although I would love some whole fish) and I cannot praise them highly enough. They come my way Fridays but if you call they will tell you the days for your route.
