    My order was placed on the 26th of June & initially there was a problem as DPD spilled some liquid on my original order & then Allmark said they re-dispatched the order missing my ginger & DPD seemed to have delivery issues. I spoke to someone at DPD on the day before my wedding day (which is why I bought the sweets) and he was very rude & kept repeating he had pictures of being at my door and so on. It was very frustrating as I had numerous deliveries (confirmed by text messages which I provided to Paypal) in that week by DPD (& the weeks before for my wedding!) which I had been in for and were received. I then told the DPD driver to return the package as I could not accept it, since the items were for my wedding (literally the next day), & it wasn't going to be here on time. I then almost immediately afterwards received a text about agreeing to have my item delivered to a safe place which I did not do. I raised a complaint with DPD about this person's behaviour & asked them to pull the recording (if they have one because it seemed the person called on his mobile) and investigate them. The courier ignored my instructions to return and falsely claimed I agreed to a "safe place" delivery (which I did not and DPD outlined that the SELLER was the one that agreed to a safe place delivery it's on their system) & the seller became unresponsive. Paypal would not agree to a refund as the seller had proof of delivery, but clearly the DPD driver knew I was going on my honeymoon and took the order after taking a photo outside some bins (not our safe place). Allmark knows what has happened, they agreed to safe place delivery, I did not, DPD destroyed my original delivery and my second delivery was taken by their DPD courier and Allmark refused to refund me. I'm never buying anything from them again, which is a shame because I now have to source ginger sugar free items for my mother elsewhere (which were not in my order because they told me they had run but it would have been a regular order!), as that was part of the reason I ordered from them, along with my wedding sweets. Caveat Emptor. Just buy off Amazon, I hate their treatment of their workers, but at least as a customer I can get my money back when things like this happen, not keep having to deal with it for two months after my wedding. Terrible customer service. Paypal won't protect you.

The ordering process was straightforward, I received email updates about the progress of my order, and when I received it, it was all nicely packaged. Thank you!

    AVOID THIS COMPANY I ordered a box of sweets for my daughters birthday party as the website claims 2 to 4 days delivery time Its now been 10 days and no item still even thought the order status says shipped although i was never given any tracking information at all the box on the order for this just says non available I emailed the company yesterday to ask if its still coming and was ignored I then phoned the number given on the order confirmation email today and the man who answered the phone told me he has no idea where the item is but someone will call me back in 15 to 20 minutes. I waited 4 hours for a call back as i had to drive and dont have handsfree but no call came so i gave up, i then emailed again after 7 hours to ask why i was bieng ignored and id like a refund as im bieng messed around then finally i got a call back from someone else saying that im bieng impatient which i feel waiting 250% longer than stated at worst case isnt impatient at all, i then asked why i didnt get a call back and was told the person who answered the phone is 14 (i dunno why this is relevant and why are they having 14 year olds answer the provided company number anyway. I asked for a tracking number and he said the royal mail are running way behind due to covid which is probably the stupidest answer ive head for a while as ive recieved items today ordered tuesday. I asked for the tracking number a 2nd time and he said the royal mail will ring me with it , i informed him i order alot of parcels on a weekly basis and its the sellers responsibility to pass on the tracking information he then argued again that it isnt and as hes posted it its no longer his problem, ( i reminded him when purchasing and item untill it arrived at my door he as the seller is responsible) he started laffing and getting very rude and agitated. I told him il have to contact the bank for a refund as he wont send me any tracking or proof or postage, he then laffed at me again and said he will just tell them im inpatient. This company is the rudest company ive ever dealt with in 48 years.
