        Good for a walk along the riverside if only you can see over the weeds, so if you meet a person on a push bike and you have to gave way but you step back towards the river it's quite easy to take a step to far.

        This runs along the North side of the Ythan through the centre of Ellon from the new Academy to the old railway bridge and passes cafes and ice cream shops on the way. We have walked it in all weathers and all seasons and love it and are so glad to see the damage from the storms is starting to fade away. It will take 1-2 hours depending on stops and walk pace and is a fine way to explore the centre of Ellon.
